Candlestick Builds Partnerships Through Fishing

This Spring has bloomed a new partnership between Candlestick Point State recreation Area, Latino Outdoors and Parks California; a series of fishing workshops will be offered to youth and families throughout the year.
The workshops will teach participants about fishing ethics, how to set up a fishing pole, what type of bait to use, and practice some pier fishing at Candlestick's Sunrise Pier. They will also get a chance to learn a little history about Candlestick State Point Recreation Area.
