If You Give a Girl a Bike by author Hayley Diep, is coming to Candlestick Point State Recreation Area as a StoryWalk! A StoryWalk places an illustrated children’s book, disassembled page by page, along a designated walking route.

About the event
Join us for a reading of the book with the author, and bike ride with SF Bike Coalition. Families can also participate in a scavenger hunt to earn some books, meet some reptile ambassadors with Tree Frog Treks, and meet with a librarian from SF Public Library.
*Families who attend will receive a copy of If You Give A Girl A Bike (while supplies last).
Families are encouraged to bring their bikes, we will have a few on hand to loan out for the bike ride.
Feel free to bring a packed lunch water bottle and wear layers, the park can get windy in the afternoon.

Event will take place at Candlestick Point State Recreation Area, near Jack Rabbit Beach. Access the park though Hunters Point Expressway via Gilman Ave.
