If you have visited Candlestick Point SRA lately, you may have noticed something different. Yes! There's a beautiful new mural at the main entrance kiosk. Local Bayview artist Joe Colmenares was commissioned by Parks California to paint the kiosk this past May.
California State Parks and Parks California hosted a Growing Together Day with Joe Colmenares and over 150 community members and organization came together to celebrate the beginning stages of painting the main entrance kiosk.
Each wall has local flora and fauna along with wildlife that can be seen at the park.
Come on by and take a close up look at the beautiful new kiosk. Also, keep an eye out for next year's Growing Together Day 2023. There will be another mural in the works, stay tuned....
